About the event
Fire-Seared Mushroom Birria Tacos with Consommé
Hongos al Fuego con Consomé
This hands-on cooking class centers on one unforgettable dish — crispy, skillet-seared tacos filled with deeply savory, birria-spiced mushrooms, served with a rich dipping consommé.
You’ll learn how to build bold mushroom flavor in a single skillet, develop a deeply seasoned birria-style filling, and cook each taco until perfectly crisp. Each tortilla is dipped, filled, and seared, with that final moment of dipping into the consommé bringing everything together.
This class is designed to be shared — whether you come with a partner, a friend, or on your own. It’s interactive, relaxed, and welcoming, with plenty of time to cook, connect, and enjoy the process together. You won’t be watching a demo; you’ll be building flavor, searing, and cooking every step of the way.
Expect comfort food with intention, a finished dish that’s truly filling, and mushroom-forward techniques you can take home and recreate.
To make the evening even more enjoyable, a cash bar will be available, along with non-alcoholic drink options for those who prefer them. Feel free to grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy the experience as you cook.
